You can describe the problem. That's not the issue.

You've probably already tried to fix it.

Most people have, by the time they get here.
The Diagnostic finds what's underneath it, the part that doesn't show from inside the business, and what has to change first.

What happens

You answer five questions before the session. Short ones. Nothing to prepare.

Then sixty to ninety minutes. No presentation. No framework to sit through. You talk about your business, and we listen for where it has moved and the language hasn't followed.

Afterward you receive a document outlining what's out of sync, what has to change first, and what it's costing you.

It isn't a deck or a report you have to work through, and what's in it is specific enough to act on.

Within seventy-two hours, a defined scope for the work follows.

Sometimes the Diagnostic finds that this isn't our work.

The problem is real, but it sits somewhere else entirely.

When that happens, you'll be told what it actually is and who to talk to.

There's no fee for that.

It doesn't happen often. It happens enough that it's worth saying.

Why the brief gets checked first

A restaurant group came to us after three agencies. Each one had written a full brand strategy. None of it was ever implemented.

They had arrived at every agency with the same brief: rebrand us for Gen Z. Every agency built what was asked for.

Nobody asked whether the brief was right.

It wasn't. The business already had a strong following across several locations, built on a cultural grounding that had been there the whole time. Chasing a younger audience meant walking away from it. Three strategies had been written to move them somewhere they didn't belong, which is why none of them were ever used. At some level everyone could feel it wasn't true.

I told them the brief was wrong.

The work started from what the business actually was, and made that the ground it stood on.

Then the way a customer moved through it was cleaned up, so what people experienced matched what the place had always been.

The confusion went out of it. People came in, understood where they were, and wanted to come back.

Where it starts

Fifteen minutes.

One question: is this the right work for where your business is right now.

If it is, you'll be told what the Diagnostic costs and it gets booked. The fee is fixed and agreed before anything begins.

If it isn't, I'll say so and point you somewhere better.

If something on this page sounded familiar, that's usually enough to start.
